The apostle Peter closes his second letter by encouraging his readers to "grow in the grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18) Firmly rooted in the truth of God's word, The Free Lutheran Church of Roseau desires to cultivate and fertilize the soil of our community with the gospel of grace, that it might spring forth in beauty to the glory of God.
We invite you to join us in one of our weekly services where verse by verse proclamation of God's word provides nourishment for spiritual health and vitality. We meet on Sunday mornings for prayer fellowship at 10:00 am, followed by regular worship at 10:30 am. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, we gather for a mid-week prayer service and Bible study, and give thanks for what God continues to accomplish in our lives and community for His glory. You are most welcome to attend one of this week's services. We look forward to seeing you there.
Because God has seen fit to shower us with his undeserved mercy and material blessings, we can not help but overflow with thankfulness. The Free Lutheran Church of Roseau maintains a food pantry used for distributing to members of the community. Haiti Relief
All Americans feel a strong desire to help the devasted people of Haiti, and those who are reaching out with aid. First of all, we pray for those lost under the ruble but still alive. May God strengthen them and bring them immediate rescue. Secondly we pray for those injured, that God will provide immediate aid for them. Third, we pray for all those, both government and private involved in relief efforts. O God give them the supplies they need, and strengthen them for the terribly difficult task at hand. Amen.

The Free Lutheran Church of Roseau is an independent Lutheran Congregation, and member of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations, or AFLC.
We know that the Holy Bible is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, inerrant and true as a whole and in all its parts. The Bible is our only authentic and infallible source of God’s revelation to all men and, therefore, the only and inerrant and completely adequate source and rule for Christian doctrine and life.
The preaching of the Word of God must be the central part of worship. The Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are effective means of grace. Therefore, along with the Church down through the centuries, we baptize our children, and practice open communion after encouraging individuals to examine themselves for living faith.
We accept and adhere to the Apostolic, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds, the
unaltered Augsburg Confession, and Luther’s Small Catechism.
He who believes in and accepts the sufficient work of Jesus for his salvation
and is baptized, is a child of God. You are saved by grace through faith alone
(Eph. 2:8) The Holy Christian Church consists of those who, in their hearts,
truly believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Christian is united by the
strongest bonds to those who share this faith, regardless of denomination.
The Christian seeks to refrain from those acts, thoughts, and words, which are
against the stated law of God. He is aware that there is a separation necessary
between the Christian and the world.
We believe that final human authority in the Church is vested in the local
congregation, subject to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. We accept the
Guiding Principles of the Lutheran Free Church as a true statement of our belief
in regard to Church polity.
Christians cherish opportunities for Bible study and prayer fellowship. The Holy
Spirit gives talents and gifts to all Christians, some to be pastors, some
teachers, some helpers, some administrators etc. Our congregation encourages the
practice of these gifts in the life of the believer; meeting the needs of the
congregation, and in service to a fallen world.
